Jess Anspach
Jess Anspach is thrilled to join the Unified Volleyball coaching staff as the head coach for the 11-1 team. With a lifelong love for volleyball, Jess brings an impressive background as both an athlete and coach, along with a contagious passion for the game.
Her volleyball journey began at the age of 8, and her dedication led to an early milestone—winning her first National Championship at AAUs with a 16-1 team in Chicago. Jess was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Wheaton North High School before competing at the collegiate level. She played two seasons in the Big Ten at Purdue University and two at Penn State University, where she contributed to two Big Ten Championships and back-to-back NCAA National Championships in 2009 and 2010.
After her collegiate career, Jess spent four years coaching both high school and club volleyball in the Chicago area, sharing her knowledge and love for the sport with young athletes.
Outside of the gym, Jess is a proud mom of three children (ages 10, 4, and 2). When she’s not chasing them around, she enjoys running outdoors, traveling, reading for her book clubs, and spending time with her large extended family and close friends.
