2025 Master Coach Info
We have an exciting coaching announcement for the upcoming 2024-2025 season!
We would like to introduce Kyle Stahl as our new Technical Director and Master Coach. Coach Kyle will be leading our new Master Coaching System, a comprehensive training protocol that incorporates techniques used by the U.S. National Team, many Division I college programs, and the top clubs nationwide. This system will enable Unified to ensure a consistent set of training techniques and terminologies across all teams in our club, further unifying our National, National Select, and State level teams. All players and coaches will learn the same skills and strategies, which will promote cohesive, high-quality, and consistent level of training.
Coach Kyle has 18 years of experience with the Western Michigan Volleyball staff (11 of those years officially on the team roster), as he moved his way up from student assistant to Associate Head Coach during that time span. He has been on the Oakland University Volleyball staff since 2022 as the Assistant Volleyball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
As the Master Coach for Unified Volleyball, Kyle will oversee the weekly practices for National, National Select, and State-level teams once a week throughout the season, and design practice plans with a focus on skill progression and competitive play. This philosophy allows our club members to develop foundational skills like footwork, hand techniques, and on-court decision-making in an ongoing structure.
Throughout the season, Coach Kyle will collaborate with each team coach to create and implement training methods into practice plans. Team coaches will identify areas for improvement within each team and relay feedback on tournament performance to the Master Coach. This input will guide the direction of future practices, ensuring that our athletes receive the best possible training.
We are excited for the opportunity to take our training system to an even more elite level!
