Unified Volleyball – 9th Season

Laura Woodmore brings a dynamic mix of athletic experience, coaching passion, and joyful energy to Unified Volleyball as she enters her 9th season with the program in 2025.

As a student-athlete at Seaholm High School, Laura was a three-year varsity volleyball player and four-year varsity basketball standout, helping lead her team to a district title in her senior year. She earned an athletic scholarship to Schoolcraft College, where she helped guide her team to a 7th place finish in the NJCAA National Championships.

Laura has coached club volleyball for over 12 years and previously served as the head coach at Waterford Mott from 2010–2012. In 2016, she joined the Oxford High School staff as the JV and Varsity Assistant Coach.

A lifelong athlete, Laura still loves to play the game herself—competing in women’s and co-ed volleyball leagues whenever she can. She also plays soccer and softball, always staying active and connected to the sports community.

Most importantly, Laura is a proud mom to her two children, Kennedy and Kenneth Jr., who she calls “the best things in the world.”
