Brea Staton

Coach Brea Staton brings almost a decade of coaching experience at the youth, school, and club levels, most recently accepting the role as Varsity Head Coach at St. Clair High School. At Unified East Volleyball Club, she’s focused on developing athletes who are not only skilled and competitive but also confident, accountable, and great teammates.
Known for blending structure with connection, Coach Brea creates a training environment where players are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow. Her practices are high-energy and purposeful, with a strong focus on technical development, game IQ, and team culture. She uses film, targeted drills, and competitive scenarios to push players to their full potential—while keeping the game fun and engaging.
Brea holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Western Michigan University and brings that same analytical mindset to her coaching. She’s detail-oriented and strategic, with a strong ability to break down the game and design training that fits each athlete’s needs.
Outside of practice, she mentors young coaches, runs camps and clinics, and works to create meaningful opportunities for athletes at all levels. Her focus at Unified East is on building a strong, connected team culture where players are challenged to grow, supported through setbacks, and prepared for whatever comes next, both on the court and in life.
