A fun, interactive sports and movement class where children explore athletic skills through games, obstacle courses, and parent-supported activities. Designed to build coordination, confidence, balance, and a lifelong love of movement.

Program Details

Our Parent & Me toddler sports class is designed for children ages 2–4 who are learning how to move their bodies with confidence, coordination, and purpose.

Through imaginative games, sports-based activities, and movement challenges, children develop essential foundational skills including:

  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Visual tracking
  • Jumping and landing
  • Balance and body control
  • Throwing and catching
  • Kicking
  • Reaction time
  • Listening and following directions
  • Early social skills through group play

Each class combines warm-ups, obstacle courses, skill stations, and fun challenges that keep toddlers engaged while building the fundamental movement skills needed for future sports and everyday play.

Parent participation is encouraged—and often helpful for younger children—as they gain confidence and independence in a fun, supportive environment.

Focus: Building coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement through play.

Light parent participation is required.

As children grow, Athletic Skills Lab helps them build the athletic foundation needed for success in any sport.

This high-energy program focuses on:

Using fun drills, games, and measurable challenges, children improve coordination while developing the movement patterns that transfer to sports like volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, football, tennis, gymnastics, and more.

What age are these toddler classes for?
SPIKEtime is designed for toddlers ages 2–4. Each activity can be scaled up or down to match your toddler's ability level!

Do parents participate?
Yes! This is a parent-and-child class.  Parents will be guiding their child through the games and activies.

What should my toddler wear?
Comfortable athletic clothes and shoes.

Can older and younger siblings come?
Yes! Siblings are welcome!

Is this good for beginners?
Absolutely—no experience needed!

What if my child doesn’t end up playing volleyball?
No problem at all! SPIKEtime focuses on building foundational skills that carry over into almost every sport. Kids develop important abilities like tracking a moving ball, balance, coordination, jumping, catching, and throwing—all while having fun.
